Four people arrested in drugs raids

FOUR people were arrested and drugs worth thousands of pounds were seized in police raids in Cambridge.

Police executed drugs warrants in Iceni Way and Buttercup Road in Arbury Park on Thursday afternoon.

Amphetamines with a street value of thousands of pounds were recovered from the Iceni Way address.

A 22-year-old man from Cambridge was arrested for money laundering, a 42-year-old man from Cambridge was arrested for possession with intent to supply drugs, and a 19-year-old man from Gloucestershire was arrested for drugs offences and a public order offence.

In Buttercup Road, several thousand pounds worth of drugs were recovered.

A 20-year-old man from Cambridge was arrested for possession with intent to supply drugs. All arrested individuals are currently being held in custody at Parkside Police Station.

Detective Sergeant Nick Skipworth said: "Thousands of pounds worth of drugs were found at two properties not 100 metres apart.
