I have a question about the website itself... How come sometimes I can't see new posts?  That is, when I go to the main page, I can see that there are, for example now, three new messages:

Street light still not on! 19/10/2008
RE: Blocked Road Drains 19/10/2008
Broken slide in Topper street 19/10/2008

However, if I click on any of them, it takes me to the main Forums page, not to any specific message.  Indeed,  they don't seem to be in any of the forums.

What's up?

Because you're not logged on, I'm afraid...

The "What's New" module is pretty stupid really and just shows every change on the site whether or not you can actually then go and see the change itself!! More annoyingly if I change the sort order of an item in the list it's a 'change' and gets pushed through to the front page...

I'm quite frustrated by the DotNetNuke hosting system at the moment...as many of you will have noticed, the logo keeps dropping off as do al the links to files on any of the pages...it's a bug, and is costing me a massive amount of time to re-create them!!

I'm looking at doing things differently when I migrate this to www.insideorchardpark.net and perhaps use a different content management system.

No no, the same thing happens when I am logged in.  I was logged in when I posted the message about it earlier today, and I just re-confirmed it.  Ever after logging in, I still can't see those messages. (clicking on them in the news list just takes me to the main forums page).

Okay - that was because it was the forum for registered residents...I've previously been checking that people are definitely residents before giving them access to those forums...check again now...
